On August 29, 2003, a group of eleven Lincoya Hills residents gathered in a living room on Windemere Circle because they wanted to do what they could to be sure the peace, safety, and beauty of the neighborhood they loved would continue. They recognized that the strength of this effort would depend on an important characteristic, that of neighbors knowing each other. This was the first step in a series that eventually created the Lincoya Hills Neighborhood Association.
The Lincoya Hills Neighborhood Association serves residents living in an area roughly bounded by Windemere Circle to the north, Lincoya Drive to the south, McGavock Pike to the west and the Stones River soccer fields to the east.
